❤️SugarBounce Core

The SugarBounce Core provides the foundational live video streaming and storage infrastructure along with other backend modules which enable complete decentralization for the ecosystem: a Live Video Streaming Network, a Payment Channel, a decentralized utility token, an advertisement network, a User Registry, and an indexing and search module. These will be open source and free to use.

SugarStream Network

The SugarStream network will enable an HD live video streaming infrastructure that supports the entire range of mobile devices. Platform businesses will be able to leverage our video player software to seamlessly connect content creators with viewers. The video player will interoperate with the user’s MetaMask wallet, allowing users to join private shows and tip them and also subscribe to exclusive content.

Benefits of using a decentralized video streaming network:

• Users can earn rewards for supporting the network - For sharing excess bandwidth and resources, users are now rewarded to participate in the network.

• Higher quality, smoother video streaming - A decentralized peer-to-peer network delivers streams efficiently globally.

• Reduced cost of delivering video streams - Video platforms no longer need to build expensive infrastructure, which means more innovation and unique business models.

SugarPay (recited)

SugarPay will be the primary payment middleware for the SugarBounce ecosystem, allowing users to process payments for a fraction of the cost of traditional payment processors.

Payment channels allow you to group a series of payments into a single blockchain transaction in order to avoid paying fees on each transaction and waiting for each transaction to be mined. Payment channels function similar to bar tabs.

For example, a customer at a bar opens a tab upon arriving, orders some number of drinks, and then settles the final balance with the bartender when they are ready to leave. Similarly, someone who wants to make repeated payments for a service (e.g., a live cam show) can open a payment channel with the service provider by depositing ETH or ERC20 tokens in escrow on a smart contract, make numerous payments off chain (e.g., tips), then settle the final balance on the smart contract when they are finished receiving services on the SugarBounce ecosystem.

SugarToken Contracts

At the heart of the SugarBounce decentralized ecosystem is the $TIP utility token as a medium of payment for digital media. It also acts as an incentive for video viewers to share redundant computing and bandwidth resources to address today’s video streaming and storage challenges.

The tokens will additionally be utilized for various governance activities across the Sugar ecosystem.

SugarIndexing / Search API

The SugarIndexing/Search API for other projects and businesses that want to help promote performers connected to the platform on their own sites and apps.

This API will allow them to access a list of live streamers, search for content creators by name and by keyword, and search for NFT content by keyword.

SugarAds Network

Advertising represents the largest opportunity for monetization in the SugarBounce ecosystem.

The advertising network will be used for displaying static ads, video ads, and native ads (e.g., cam models reading sponsor messages). Our goal is to maximize revenue share with the content creators whose audiences we target.

We believe this will motivate many performers and studios to make the SugarBounce ecosystem the primary distribution channel for their free content. The first version of our ad network will only serve SugarBounce dApps, but we plan to release a B2B Advertiser Dashboard for businesses to use as well. The ad network architecture will use state channels to track impressions and conversions in real-time and eventually move to a per-ad micropayment model.

In the future, we plan to use a token curated registry mechanism similar to AdChain to verify that sites and apps selling their advertising opportunities are not fraudulent.

SugarUser Registry

The SugarUser Registry module is the foundation for identity verification in the SugarBounce ecosystem. Users will be able to create their profiles, connect their Ethereum addresses with their existing profiles, link social media profiles, complete KYC steps, and link to any off-chain profile data they have on IPFS. Simply having the SugarUser Registry connect performer Ethereum addresses to their social media profiles will allow anyone to look up a user and send them gifts of ETH or tokens without any intermediaries.

Sugar Apps

The SugarApps layer is composed of frontend dApps that target various use cases and services in the online adult industry. Our vision for the SugarBounce ecosystem is to have a wide variety of apps built on top of the same infrastructure, SugarBounce Core, allowing users and content creators to seamlessly switch between any applications in our ecosystem.
